in todays video i will be giving my living room a refresh. i was sent a modular sectional by honbay and i was so happy to switch up furniture but after i get to use it i realized it dosnt fit my needs. the color was off from the picture and also its not comfortable at all . i dont mine a firmer couch but this one is not it! so keep in mind. i have my info down below if your interested.

hey yall!! I like to do Honest Reviews. so i was really excited for this sectional but after getting to actually use it i am sad to say i will not be keeping it! the color is just not me but not only that the sectional is not comfortable at all. the pictures of the product and the color in person is not the same and were are all about movie nights and this sectional is not it.after one movie me and my husband were both in pain. so i will just be keeping what i have until i find what i want. but i will have the link and discount code in the description incase anyone is interested. 🥰

Yes, the picture shows more of a hunter green color which I would have loved, but this color is not yet I feel like beige khaki color is more me😊💕💕

I have to say I'm not a fan of the color I'm more of a gray or beige person too sorry it didn't work out!
Put a table in place of the bench! Remove shelf and get a pretty vase and a lamp for entryway!

I thought I wasn’t going to like the look but it looks so good! I think you should remove the bench and shelf and put a small cabinet with a mirror above!
Paint the door black. It’ll tie in the black accents you have around the room 🖤 Black is also a subtle nod to a more Modern Farmhouse look.

Love the couch, the green it’s so vibrant. Have you thought of using lumbar shaped pillows, maybe a few with color or pattern ( plaid, floral etc.) I’m a quilter and thought hanging a quilt above the bench would bring in some color,pattern and softness, you could raise the shelf up high and use it as a quilt hanger. If you don’t care for quilts a large picture would look good above the bench. You’re doing great, have fun. ❤
We had a modular sectional when we first moved and at first I loved it! But with Littles it just didn't work out lol I do love the color of the couch though! Love that your always changing 😊 I do the same lol I'm actually in the process of redoing all my end tables and kitchen table.

Omg I love love the new sofas I just think it looks beautiful. Ok Jessie I’m jealous lol . ❤ you have changed your style so much but definitely on point. I was thinking instead of the bench how you think about a nice entry table and maybe a mirror and keep it simple. I don’t think the bench make sense behind the beautiful sofa . But whatever you do I’m sure it will be awesome.

Love the shelf. The bench will look great as is once the door is painted white. I feel the poles on the bench throw the shelf off, dont know if tbey are removable.

It's looks very cheaply made it's also way to big for your room plus anything that has to have velcro to keep cushions in place is not a good thing plus I didn't like the color

I would take out the bench and take down shelve. Get a small entryway table and mirror above it, or maybe a big picture.

I like the plant idea on the shelf. It will soften the room. They have beautiful faux plants at hobby lobby and michaels. Amazon does too. You have some pottery vases over by your lamp. That beautiful display would look beautiful on the shelf with other greenery. Love the living room. It does look warm and inviting.

Well, the couch is already gone. I’m back to my old set. I didn’t like the color I could have switched it out for the beige that I feel like I would like more, but the couch was not comfortable at all. Me and my husband were both in pain after watching a movie we decided this is not for us, but we did love how much space gave us so we will eventually purchase something similar but comfortable And beige lol 😊💕
So in my professional opinion as an interior designer, you need a larger rug for that room. The rug should always be large enough to go under the couch. Of course large rugs can be expensive… just a suggestion ❤

I think on that wall where the shelf is you should take it down and put your bench outside on your porch and leave that wall blank or put a mirror on there that would look pretty and your room would look more spacious and more room to walk in and out
At first I was like, green, NO JESSIE not green what ya doing BUT OMG it looks so good and it brightens the room up. My mom was watching with me and she was like it's so bright in her house now and her changing the curtains brings it all together. I love it and now understand the saying "Trust the Process".

I love the sectional, the green was a good call. You should put a mirror and maybe a entryway table with a lamp and you could use that vase you put in the hallway, with some books.Also I love all the pillows

A narrow table with a pretty lamp and a round mirror trimmed in black wound be pretty where the bench is.
You can also put the extra piece as a coffee table and put a tray on it how to hold your drinks and stuff. Only a suggestion
Love the look. Since you have a white wall would you consider chalk paining the bench and shelf a lighter shade of green that blends with the sofa. I would leave the spindles on the bench the same color. That will blend with the lower part of the wall!! I think a lighter shade of green in the same family would pop against the white wall!!
I think you should take the shelf down and add like maybe a picture or a small decoration on the wall maybe hooks?

I like the green. It looks good … the black bench could be white. But it looks okay too. You do have other black In the room . But maybe white would be better. It is hard to see it in the video. I would much rather have a firm sofa like you.

I know it will look great whatever you do. I'd leave the shelf! Fill It full of decor and some greenery!! ( Again, it's YOUR home, but I think it will be too white and bland with white bench and shelf....) Again, you do YOU! This is coming from me, one that loves loves color!
